The service

WP Theme Checker is a free tool that scans the public-facing HTML of WordPress sites you submit and returns information about the detected theme, plugins, and hosting. The service is provided as-is, without warranty. Detection results are best-effort and may be incomplete.

Acceptable use

• Scan any publicly-accessible WordPress site.
• Do not use the tool to scan sites you do not have permission to inspect at scale (this is not a vulnerability scanner — please don't treat it like one).
• Do not abuse the API (excessive automated requests will be rate-limited).

No affiliation

WP Theme Checker is not affiliated with WordPress.org, Automattic, or the trademark owners of any detected theme, plugin, or hosting provider.

Limitation of liability

Scepter Marketing is not liable for any loss resulting from use of the tool, the accuracy of detection results, or actions taken based on them.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
